Healthy people, strong communities

The focus of healthy people, strong communities works to engage and mobilize residents to take collective action to improve access to and availability of the resources needed to revitalize and strengthen neighbourhoods.

United Ways Centraides invest in programs that help create neighbourhoods that are vibrant, where residents can experience a sense of safety and well-being.

We assist residents to identify community strengths and leverage resident knowledge, skills and experience to help neighbourhoods become stronger.
