Vice-President, Strategy and Transformations.

Poya Kherghehpoush provides leadership and support to the development of United Way Centraide Canada’s strategic direction, including the establishment of shared strategic goals, objectives, and priorities across the network of local United Way Centraides. He is responsible for UWCC’s network modernization and performance programs. In this capacity, he provides leadership and advisory support to national and regional transformation initiatives designed for long term growth and impact.

During his career at UWCC, Poya has progressed through a number of roles, beginning in 2011 as National Marketing Coordinator and most recently as National Director of Strategy and Innovation, through which he provided leadership to the establishment and evolution of a systems-level strategic restructuring program which focused on operating model transformation, business intelligence, and performance management.

Poya holds an MBA with a focus on international development management, a joint program from the Sprott School of Business and Norman Patterson School of International Affairs. He also earned his BA (Honours) in political science from Carleton University. Poya serves on the board of directors of WaterAid Canada, and he is actively involved with various social and business ventures as an advisor and with his alma mater as a mentor.
