Fauzia is an executive coach and management consultant with prior senior leadership experience in diverse industries including at Suncor Energy leading Joint Ventures, Commercial, and Strategic Planning. She was previously Vice President in the Technology and Operations area at TELUS, and President and CEO of Aquila (now Fortis). Active in numerous national and community organizations, Fauzia also serves as Chairman of the Programs & Community Engagement Committee on the Calgary Stampede Foundation and served as President, Aga Khan Ismaili Council for the Prairies for 8 years and has also served on the boards of numerous other non-profit organizations. A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, Fauzia holds a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, an Executive MBA from University of Western Ontario and Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University.
