Debra leads the Community Initiatives team including National Programs, Government Relations, Public Policy, 211, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion & Indigenous Collaboration. Deb has extensive experience in the community services sector. She spent over five years as Senior Vice President of Community Impact at United Way Greater Toronto and has been Executive Director at East Metro Youth Services, a children and youth mental health agency located in Scarborough, and at University Settlement, a neighbourhood community centre providing homeless services, daycare and more. Deb earned her Master of Social Work degree from New York University and has trained as a community mediator and an executive coach.
