With a career split between Ottawa-based technology start-ups and global leadership roles at Microsoft, Michèle Bedford brings a practical, execution-focused approach to governance; focused on clarity, stewardship, and helping organizations deliver measurable outcomes for the communities they serve. Michèle is currently Director of Strategy & Governance for Customer Support at Microsoft, where she partners with senior leaders globally to strengthen governance, strategic alignment, and operational excellence in service of customer trust. Prior to Microsoft, she served as Chief Commercial Officer at Calian Group Ltd. (TSX: CYG), supporting growth across cybersecurity, health technology, and defence. A certified iGP Director, Michèle serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Canada – Ottawa as Chair of the Governance Committee and is a former Board Chair of Bruce House.
